Title, genre and year at the top. Rate it, mark it Not interested, or add it to your watchlist right there. Every one of those sharpens your matches and raises your clapper score.

Movie Night

Link your account with your partner's and you share one Movie Night list. You each add up to five picks.

Then you each put the whole list in order and lock in your choices. Neither of you sees the other's order until you're both done, so nobody gets talked into anything.

Hit Reveal and the winner comes out from behind the curtain. A tie? MatchMe breaks it. Can't decide at all? Let MatchMe choose.

What does calibration actually do?

Every choice tells the matching engine something about you: the genres, eras, directors and actors you respond to, and the ones you don't.

Rating a film, marking it Not interested, and adding it to your watchlist all count. Haven't seen skips it without counting. Strong opinions teach it the most: a 5-star or 1-star rating says more than a 3.

It weighs all of that against every film in the catalogue to predict how much you'd enjoy each one. That prediction is your match score, and every rating after the first few makes it sharper.

Meet your matching engine

Forget generic "recommended for you" lists. Every match runs through five connected layers, each reading your taste a different way.

Preference Weights

Your control room

Rank the genres you enjoy in order of priority. Simple and quick.

That gives the engine its starting point: what you say you like. From here, the other four layers watch what you actually like, because the two aren't always the same.
