Open Filters & Sorting ▾ on For You. Everything here narrows what you see right now. None of it changes your genre order or what the engine has learned, so experiment freely.

The filters

• ✓Free movies only: just what's on the services you have, or free online.
• ✓Hide watchlisted: hides what you've saved, to find something new.
• ✓Include previously watched: brings back films you've rated, for a rewatch.
• Era buttons: All Eras Classics New Releases and more. See Eras.
• Select moods ▾: tense, lighthearted, cerebral, epic and more, matched on each film's emotional themes.
• Select genres ▾: narrows your list to the genres you pick.

Snoozing genres

The Snooze Genres clock next to Genres rests a genre for a while without changing your order. Handy when you've had your fill of something but still love it.

Filters are for tonight. Your genre order is for the long run. If you find yourself using the same filter every day, that's a sign it belongs in your preferences.
