Your clapper score
What your clapper score means and how to raise it.
Your clapper score, shown on your Preferences page, measures how well the engine knows your taste. A low score means it's still guessing. A high one means your matches are built on plenty of real evidence.

120–20Getting startedRough guesses so far.
3821–50SolidMostly good picks, the odd miss.
6851–80ExcellentSharp predictions, rare misses.

Films and shows have separate scores, because your taste in each is learned separately. Your score can go down as well as up, depending on your activity.
How to raise it
- Rate films and shows you've seen, from anywhere: For You, a film's page, Calibrate or your Watchlist.
- Press Not interested when something's not for you.
- Add films to your Watchlist.
- Run a Calibrate round now and then, especially for shows if that score is lagging.

A good score isn't the finish line. Tastes move, new films arrive, and every rating keeps me learning and growing with you.
